So you’ve likely landed on this page because I’ve filled out an application to be a Brand Ambassador for your products (or services).  Or maybe, just maybe, you’ve stumbled on my blog and thought, “Hey this guy is pretty cool, let’s give him a shot”.

Either way, there are a few things you should know about me:

First of all, I’m a people-person and love interacting with others and have developed a strong sense of why I run. It’s the people, the stories, strength in numbers, and motivation that comes from all places. Everybody has their own story, whether it be health, coping with stress, depression, you name it. I run because I can, and it lets me tap into that communal strength. Also, I love food.

The running community is HUGE and it’s pretty cool to just be a part of it – even if my part is super small. I’m a member of my local running club: Lancaster Road Runners Club and amazed by the friends I’ve made! Go LRRC! As well as several Facebook and other social media groups.

I love discovering and finding inspiration from other runners in this great community. My only hope is to share my story and inspire those who come into contact with me. Running is not something I just do, it is a part of my life and my lifestyle, it’s my freedom to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. It’s my daily meditation session, where I can be alone with my thoughts. It’s my connection to others, especially on a group run where we move as one. It’s my reminder to be alive and live in the moment. The best part of running is knowing that I’m only competing with myself, there’s no one micromanaging my pace, my form, my gate – I’m in complete control (at least it feels that way most of the time).

When I lace up my shoes there’s no one but me, myself, and I – yet strangely enough I’m not alone in this great community of ours!

I’m not a fast runner. I am the first to admit that there are plenty of people that I admire that are much faster runners than me, in fact, I’m pretty average.  *Check out my About Me page for my PR’s*

Despite being an average runner, I do have my own opinions and a growing presence on social media. My 2018-2019 goal is to break out of the hundreds and into the thousands of followers (currently sitting around 900+ followers). I have a podcast that I co-host with my amazing wife, where we discuss health and fitness topics, share recommended reads, as well as share products, and our recipe finds for awesomely nutritious eats.

I’m involved in more than just running in my day to day life (although getting paid to run professionally would be pretty sweet), I find sheer joy in just living an active lifestyle – hiking, camping, surfing, swimming, you name it. 2018-2019 will be an adventurous year and I’d like for you to come along.

I’m going places, won’t you tag along?

Oh and just like everyone else, let’s be real and admit we like free stuff and at least feeling like we’re insiders and “in the know”. I especially like products that meet my own personal criteria and, most importantly – products that actually WORK! Chances are if your company has an Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter account and I use and enjoy your products: I’m following you, I’m tagging you, I’m repping your brand already for free- what’s a little recognition on your part?
